Gokyo trek is the one of highly praised trek route Through the dudh koshi river,the source Gokyo Lake which is situated at the west part of Everest Base camp. The Gokyo trial is also considered as alternative way to have panoramic views of world’s Highest mountains Mount Everest (8848m).conducting trek through this route is very pleasure full and less crowded than main trail of EBC so, Trekkers can have peaceful nd exciting environment throughout this trekking.Gokyo trial is one of Adventurous trial so it’s a necessity to have good health before doing it so, you need to be prepare before doing this trek or if u have some experience in trekking in Nepal then it would be more better! While conducting Gokyo trek we start our 1st  move as three hours walk from Lukla airport and the next day will be our rest day for acclimatization in the historical Sherpa village NAMCHE BAZAR which is home town of many mountaineers Sherpa and most of amazing part is the hospitality of people the cultures and the religious belief! AS our trekking goes on our main goal is to reach awesome place of the whole trekking Called “Gokyo Lake(4790m)”.Because after two hours walk from Gokyo lake we’ll reach at the bottom of Gokyo Ri(5483m) which is considered as the best view point in Everest regions. The incredible sceneries including Mt Everest(8848m),Mt Makalu(8463m),Mt Choyo(8201m),Mt Lhotse(8516m) and many more mountains surrounding us helps to Refresh from our Days of difficult walk.

After Gokyo summit our important Destination is Renjola pass(5368m) which is the moderate trekking trial in Everest Regions. From the bottom of the Renjola we can have mesmerizing view of Gokyo lake on the one side, and the Rinmo pokhari lake on the other side, and the surrounded by snowy peaks provide incredible atmosphere.The Renjola pass leads us to the Beautiful Sherpa village called”thame,And after thame we’ll walk for two more days to get to the Lukla airport where our trekking meets The finished line!

Trip Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport and Transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu-Phakding,
After early-morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive to the domestic airport terminal.Receive your boarding pass and fly  to Lukla (2886m On arrival to Lukla, you will begin 3 hours  walking to Phakding (2640) wonderful valley to your right; and Mt. Kusum Kangaru (6367m.) to the far end.  Overnight  at lodge.

Day 03: Phakding - Namche Bazaar:
From   Phakding  5 hour walking to Namche Bazaar (3440m) is surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges and faces the Bhote Koshi to the South.  overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Namche-Kumjung only 2 hours walking.
After breakfast only 2 hours walk up to Khumjung and After Lunch one hour hiking to  Khunde Hospital was set up by the late Sir Edmund Hillary and you can also hike for an hour up to Syangboche (3800m.) where Everest View Hotel is situated above Namche for some outstanding views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. There are also good views from the National Park Centre and Museum just above the town. Overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Khumjung to Dole (4040m) about 6 hours walking.
After breakfast leaving Khumjung the trail climbs to a large chorten on top of a ridge. This ridge descends from Khumbila, a 5734m peak. The trail descends slightly towards the Sanasa and then trail ascends up to Mongla (4000m.). From here, you can see panoramic views of various mountains. You trek steeply descend passing through Phortse Tenga and from there, the trail climbs steeply to Dole, through rhododendron and birch forest festooned with hanging mosses and lichens. Overnight  at  lodge.

Day 06:Dole-Machhermo:
From Dole you climb steadily along the side of the valley, where small and thorny bushes give way to scrub juniper as the altitude increases. The trail passes many summer settlements. Ahead of you presents majestic views of Cho Oyu, while back down the valley are the peaks of Kantega and Thamserku. This is a short day and you will arrive at Machhermo (4150m) 4 hours walking  Overnight  at lodge.

Day 07:  Machhermo to Gokyo (4750m) takes about four and half hours.
After breakfast  you head for the lakes at Gokyo. You follow a very scenic path to Pangka and then descend slightly, following one of the melted-water. Rivers flow down the west side of the Ngozumpa Glacier. You climb a steep rocky incline into the valley by the side of the glacier, passing the first of the holy lakes. You soon arrive at the second of the lakes, crossing the path which heads across the glacier and  trek to Gokyo(4750m) 4 hours walking overnight at Lodge.

Day 08:Climb from Gokyo to Gokyo Ri (5380m)
Early morning climb up to Gokyo Ri 5380m for sunrise spectacular panoramic views of Himalayan.From Gokyo ri  you  will have wonderful  views of  Mt Evrest,Mt Cho-yo,Mt Lhostse ,Mt Pumauri,Amadablam and many more peaks. After that we descent down to Gokyo and rest day,Overnight at lodge Gokyo.

Day 09: Gokyo-Lungden.(4350m)
After breakfast we climb uphill the lush grassy area.The slope progressively becomes steeper and we head for the top.The trek is quite complex as it is very steep. From the top, we can view stunning panorama of Rolwaling,Tengi  rangi ,Lhotse,Everest ,Makalu,Pumauri,Nhuptse,Ringmo pokhari and Gokyo valley.We walk down hill though the beautiful meadow towered  the Rolwaling valley it takes 6/7 hours and overnight at lodge Lungden.

Day 10: Lungden-Thame 93850m) 7/8 hours walking.
Today we walk down to Thame lovely views of Thame Tashilaptsa valley and beautiful cultures of Tibetan khamba cultural and overnight at lodge.

Day 11: Thame-Jorsaly,
Today we walking 3 hours to Namche  our Lunch will be at Namche and 2 hours walking down to Jorsaly overnight at lodge.

Day 12: Jorsaly-Lukla.
From Jorsaly 5 hours walking to Lukla last day of your trek and overnight at lodge.

Day 13: Lukla-Kathmandu,
From Lukla fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 14: Kathmandu.
Free day at Kathmandu hotel include with bed and breakfast,

Day 15: Departure day.
After breakfast drive to international airport Kathmandu for your departure.
