Dhane was recommended to me 10 years ago by a travel companion, while on a trip to Tibet. When I decided to go trekking in Nepal earlier this year, he was my first port of call; and have absolutely no regrets!

From the outset, everything went smoothly. Although the Gokyo Ri trip is pretty much a standard schedule, I was able to adjust and tweak it to allow me additional rest and acclimatization days. Accommodation in Kathmandu and my flights to and from Lukla (with the added bonus of not having to fly to Lukla from Rame Chhap Airport) were booked early and with no fuss.

The actual trek was amazing! Upon landing at Lukla, I was easily able to connect with my guide (and porter), who soon had me sorted with my luggage and breakfast and a feeling like I was in good hands from the get-go. AB, my guide, was personable, knowledgeable, and made sure everything ran smoothly from the accommodation on the trail to meals, to permits. Even on trail, there was flexibility; due to a number of factors I wanted to alter the planned return route from Gokyo to Lukla; this was done seamlessly. This allowed me to just enjoy the fantastic scenery and the experience as a whole.

All in all, a very happy client who would definitely recommend Alsace Treks & Expedition.
