Gokyo to Chola pass
Gokyo to Chola Pass is one of the most thrilling and adventurous routes in the Everest region, part of the famous Three Pass Trek. Chola passes a high elevation of (5,420m) -17,782 feet and serves as a high-altitude gateway between Gokyo Valley and Everest Base Camp region. The pass itself is challenging due to the high elevation and steep, rocky terrain. Trekkers have to navigate over glaciers, loose rocks, and times snow and ice. Chola Glacier

Lobuche to Gorakshep 2-3 hours walking
The trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,164m), 16,942 feet is about 3 hours of walking from Lobuche. The trail follows Khumbu Glacier, with beautiful views of Pumori (7,161m) and Nuptse (7,861m). The path is rocky and dusty but generally has moderate difficulty. Gorakshep is a small settlement and the last stop with Teahouselodge for accommodation before heading to Everest Base Camp or Kala Patthar.
Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp (5,364m)
From Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp 2-3 hours walking one way. The trails are mostly flat but can be challenging due to the high altitude and rocky terrain. Once you reach Everest base camp, you won’t see the summit of Everest itself, but you will be standing at the foot of the Khumbu icefall, where climbers begin their ascent, in the climbing season the base camp is busting with an expedition tent and climbing Group.
Hike to Gorakshep Kala Patthar (5,545m)
From Gorakshep ascent to Kalapatthar 2-3 hours walk of about 2 miles, and the descent from Kala Patthar is 1 hour to Gorakshep. Trek to Kala Patthar is a steep, strenuous uphill hike, usually in the early morning to late in the afternoon for the best sunrise and sunset views.
