Amphu Lapcha Location

Island Peak climb is more technical than Mera Peak. You need to use all Mountaineering equipment due to the steep ice wall.

Climbing Island involves more technical sections a headwall of 45-50 degrees near the peak summit, where you will need to use fixed ropes and ascend with Jumar devices. The summit ridge is also narrow and exposed
