Mera peak climbing is not too much technical climbing, but Mingbo La pass is quite a difficult high pass (5,816m) with very less trekkers. Necessary Trekking Permits: You need Mera peak climbing permits, Barun National Park, and TIMS Card plus Sagarmatha National Park permits, for the trip which is compulsory for the trekker.
Flight and Land Transport Service: During the Mera peak via Mingbo La pass, you must take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla to Kathmandu. But there is another option you can hire a local Jeep from Kathmandu to Buksa but you need three days extra. If you travel by Jeep it takes 15 hours from Kathmandu to Buksa.
Need Experience Guide: You need a Mountaineering skills full guide. Who knows how to use mountaineering equipment and how to work at high altitudes and in the snow? If you take a non-high experienced guide then you could not get a Mingbo La pass.
